Al Husn is the adult, intimate part of the complex: you get complimentary access to everything at the neighbouring Shangri-La Barr Al Jissah. A secluded beach and calm at home — and a large infrastructure next door whenever you want it.
The resort itself stands on a cliff above the Gulf of Oman: spacious rooms and suites with panoramic balconies and ocean views, architecture in the spirit of Omani palaces, with arches and carved stone.
Advice: choose Al Husn if you are travelling as a couple, without children — the concept here is deliberately adults-only, and that is exactly why people value it.
Logistics are simple: about 15 minutes to the Mutrah souq, the old town and the Ruwi business district — sightseeing Muscat combines easily with beach mode.
