A practical five-star choice in Muscat: 15 minutes from the airport, with the business quarter of government buildings and conference halls next door — and yet a sandy beach and Hajar mountain views from the windows.
On the rooms: every category has a furnished balcony with a mountain or sea view, plus air conditioning, a coffee machine, a sitting corner and a work area inside. For the best view, take the upper floors; for privileges, the categories with club lounge access.
The sports side is serious: a 25-metre pool, two tennis courts and a 900 sq m fitness centre divided into strength, cardio and crossfit zones. Never played tennis — they will supply both the kit and an instructor.
For downtime — a relaxation pool, a spa with a sauna, plunge pool and steam bath, and a tropical garden. For children — a playground where it is easy to make friends and play.
For culture, the Grand Mosque and the Amouage factory are minutes away. It works for a business trip and for a family seaside holiday alike.
