A practical answer to the question of where to stay in Muscat: a few minutes from the international airport, 15 minutes to Mutrah market and the old town — logistics that save you hours of holiday.

One piece of advice: allow time for the city itself — the Ruwi business district and old Muscat are close by, and the rocky mountains and the Gulf of Oman begin right beyond the resort.
