The new adults-only resort You & Me Maldives opened in 2019 and offers a secluded, romantic vacation in an atmosphere created especially for couples in love.
The dine-around concept lets guests explore all of the island's gastronomic offerings, giving them the chance to have lunch and dinner at all of the a la carte restaurants.
And although the resort's highlight, the underwater restaurant H2O, is not part of this concept, we highly recommend going there — descend to a depth of 6 meters below sea level to sample dishes from the refined menu and admire exotic fish through the thick glass.
Snorkeling on the house reef can be somewhat hampered by a strong current, but Raa Atoll is one of the most beautiful atolls, with rich underwater life, so around the hotel there are many stunning snorkeling and diving spots you can visit accompanied by experienced instructors from the certified 5-star diving center. Just a 25-minute boat ride away is a manta ray watching point, and in season (usually November to May) you can see these magnificent creatures there.
Overall the resort offers quite an active vacation, with a wide range of activities, excursions, trips to neighboring islands, and water sports, and in the evening life here does not stop — on the contrary, it picks up pace: parties with live music and DJs are held regularly, along with folk dance performances.
The resort is, without question, best suited to active couples in love, as well as honeymooners (for whom there are regularly special offers).
