Honest review
A case where the name is a promise: "Reethi Faru" means "beautiful reef", and the house reef here is genuinely bright and colourful. If snorkelling is half the point of the Maldives for you, that is a serious argument.
The practical side: a five-star dive centre covers every scenario — morning, daytime and night dives, snorkelling trips and a range of excursions.
The resort is recent, newly built, and its whole character is about ecology: its own vegetable garden, a complete rejection of plastic, care for nature down to the small things. The 150 rooms in traditional design are spread far apart across the green island — privacy is built into the layout itself.
A note for families: there is little children's entertainment, but the lagoon is shallow, free of corals and waves — a safe field for games. And several restaurants and bars mean you need not repeat a dinner all week.
Who it suits: couples, families with children and groups of friends who care about the reef, the greenery and honest eco-mindedness.
