Whale sharks all year round — that is the main argument for this address. The resort sits right next to the South Ari marine reserve (SAMPA), an emblematic site for watching the biggest fish on the planet.
Even without the sharks, though, Melia Whale Lagoon knows how to impress. The main pool is a 37-metre 'landscape' infinity pool: hammocks and Balinese beds along the water turn sunset into a ritual of its own.
