For many, their acquaintance with the Maldives began with this relatively inexpensive hotel, 40 minutes by seaplane from Male. Despite its age, you can't take away the resort's large green grounds, its superb snow-white beach with easy entry into the water, and a small house reef where you are absolutely certain to meet sea turtles. As for the rooms, however, it's better to look at categories from the Beach Villa upward. All in all, given the low price, this hotel shouldn't be ruled out.
