Two facts about this resort are worth knowing before you book — then there will be no surprises. First: there is no alcohol on the island at all — no bars, no way to order it even for an extra charge. Second: the island is large and does not belong to the resort entirely — two guesthouses sit on the other side, so the grounds are fenced and guests are advised not to go beyond them.
If neither point troubles you, the rest falls into place. The resort is brand new, standing at the southern tip of an island on Ari Atoll amid lush vegetation; the food is good and the attitude to guests is attentive.
The location works well for diving — plan your dives, it is one of the main reasons to choose this island.
With children it is easy: no age restrictions, a children's zone in the pool and a working kids' club. In the evenings — national performances, film screenings and parties (alcohol-free, which for families is more plus than minus).
