One of those rare luxury resorts in the Maldives where All-Inclusive is thought through as carefully as the design. If you don't want to count the cost of every dinner, yet a canteen-style set-up is not for you either, look here first.
The first practical question is the villa category. There are 80 in total: 38 on the beach and 42 over the water, all private, all facing the Indian Ocean. For the classic Maldivian picture take an overwater villa; families with children are usually more comfortable in the beach ones — the sand is a couple of steps from the door.
Dining is covered by the all-inclusive system, with restaurants that faithfully reproduce original recipes — Italian, Asian, African, Brazilian, Mediterranean. You can change cuisine every evening if you like.
The Dolphin kids' club is run by professional, specially trained staff — you can leave the children with an easy mind. Meanwhile the adults get a spa of 8 pavilions with steam rooms, relaxation pools and yoga built on Thai and Balinese practices.
The bottom line is simple: a new resort on Raa Atoll for those who want a predictable budget, seclusion and modern minimalism instead of the familiar Maldivian classic.
