Emerald Faarafushi Resort & SPA
is a new resort belonging to The Leading Hotels of the World consortium; it opened on October 1, 2022.
The island is buried in lush tropical greenery, with a snow-white beach 1.2 km long. The beautiful lagoon offers the chance to try various water sports and get to know the underwater world of the Indian Ocean.
The 80 overwater and beach villas come in 6 different categories with stunning views of the lagoon and the ocean. They are done in a modern minimalist style and beautifully combine natural elements of stone and wood. Every detail has been executed with great care, with the aim of making guests' holidays carefree and unforgettable.
Location
On Faarafushi Island in Raa Atoll, in the northern part of the Maldivian archipelago, 20 minutes by speedboat from the Emerald Maldives Resort & SPA.
Hotel time runs 1 hour ahead of local time in Malé.
Transfer
45 minutes by seaplane (daylight hours only), or 40 minutes by domestic flight and then 5 minutes by speedboat.
Recommendation
An excellent option for holidays with children, water sports, and romantic getaways.
