A Mecca for diving enthusiasts — no exaggeration: the island stands in the middle of a channel at the edge of the largest of the Maldives' 22 natural atolls, with no fewer than 25 dive spots around it.
Reef sharks, rays, turtles and shoals of fish are found right around the island. There is a certified 5-star PADI diving centre with an international team of instructors — they teach here and run trips to the most interesting sites.
The resort has been rebuilt and refreshed more than once, growing ever more modern, but its main asset remains the location: the quiet beauty of nature and tropical flora hasn't gone anywhere.
An important nuance for families: children under 12 are not accommodated in the water bungalows — choose other categories for that case.
It can be recommended to almost everyone: there are activities and accommodation options for any scenario, but first and foremost this is an address for those who dive.
