Honest review
Set on a miniature, picturesque island ringed by a house reef, ideal for snorkeling straight from the shore.
The local 5-star certified dive center offers morning, afternoon and night dives, snorkeling tours and a variety of excursions. Beyond diving, the island has plenty of other active pastimes: regular yoga classes, a water-sports center, and a wide beach that lets guests take long walks between sunbathing sessions.
The resort operates on an all-inclusive basis, so guests — who have 5 restaurants at their disposal — can sample all the chefs' creations. All the island's restaurants have a bright, inviting atmosphere, and the cuisine will leave no one indifferent.
The resort entertains its guests with events including live-music parties and traditional Maldivian performances, as well as talks by the marine biologist.
Not long ago the island underwent a partial renovation and the villas' look changed considerably — they are now lighter and more contemporary — though note that the villas still have no televisions.
Children of any age are welcome to stay on the island, but this resort is really better suited to couples and adult parties than to families with children.
