Advice for anyone choosing the Maldives on an all-inclusive plan: at Cora Cora the concept implies no restrictions for guests — few places state it so plainly. The restaurants and bars are run by an experienced Italian chef, so the standard of the kitchen is not a worry.
The resort is new — opened in October 2021, five stars, on an island of Raa Atoll. 100 villas in light tones: red accents on the beach villas, blue on the water villas.
The reef is worth it: rich, untouched, right off the island — fish, rays, sharks and turtles. A mask and snorkel pay for themselves on day one.
The island itself is genuinely green: more than 60 plant species, from frangipani to hibiscus, and it is best explored on a free bicycle or on foot.
For families there is a club for children and teenagers; for everyone — spa, diving, snorkelling, excursions and sport. Who it is for: families and couples who want a new resort with an honest all-inclusive and a living house reef.
