Honest review
Do the arithmetic: 39 rooms — and yet 5 bars and restaurants and three pools. A ratio like that is rare, and it says something honest about the level of Mango House.
Accommodation runs from standard rooms to villas, all set up for unhurried holidays and ocean views. If you are travelling as a couple, look at the villas: they are the top category here.
For food, the reference point is Creole cuisine: exotic dishes in the restaurants, light bites by the pool. To keep in shape there is a spa with relaxing treatments and a gym with group and personal training.
For the active there are water sports, motorised and non-motorised, and excursions around Mahé and the other islands of the Seychelles archipelago: a glass-bottom boat, a private cruise, a helicopter ride or trekking through tropical forest. If you like, rent a 4x4 or a minivan and plot your own route.
A good choice for a honeymoon and for families: the island is easy to explore, and the resort remains a quiet base you are glad to come back to.
