A young resort on Mahé: Laïla opened in 2022, so the rooms are still fresh — without the wear that some Seychelles veterans show.
The format is human in scale: just 84 rooms in the Anse Royale area. The resort belongs to Marriott's Tribute Portfolio, so the chain's service standard comes with it.
The logistics are among the best on the island: 9.9 km from the international airport, a transfer of about 10 minutes. In the Seychelles, where journeys easily swallow half a day, that is a weighty argument.
The main restaurant serves breakfast and dinner buffet-style and runs themed evenings; hours are 07:00–10:30 and 19:00–22:30. The middle of the day is best left for the beach and the Anse Royale surroundings.
A sensible choice when you want a new resort without a long road from the aircraft steps to your room.
