Honest review
A straightforward family option on Praslin: its own beach right on the Indian Ocean, two open-air freshwater pools and a separate safe pool for the little ones — the essentials for children are covered.
The name is a tribute to the Seychelles' symbol: the coco de mer palm, widespread on precisely these islands.
Plan your activity in advance: snorkelling and diving gear is handed out here, deep-sea fishing is arranged at extra cost, and there are two sailing catamarans, a gym and mini-golf at your disposal. A slow day means the Waterfront spa with its massages, a bike ride through the tropical surroundings or a cruise to the neighbouring islands.
The food: two restaurants with freshly cooked local and other national dishes.
Getting there is simple: 8 km from Praslin airport, or a 15-minute flight from Mahé's Pointe Larue international airport. It suits families with children and couples — honeymooners included.
