Bali from above: The Ritz-Carlton resort stands on top of a coastal cliff, and the endless horizon of the Indian Ocean is visible from everywhere. Below is a white sand beach; around it, landscaped grounds with tropical gardens.
The rooms are done with rare consistency in the details: spacious living rooms, bathrooms with double basins and a large tub, a separate rain shower, walk-in wardrobes, Diptyque amenities and high-quality robes — this is the standard, not a privilege of the upper categories.
The difference between categories lies in access to the water. Some rooms open straight onto a 27 sq m lagoon pool from the terrace, while the villas get a secluded lagoon and their own designer dining room.
If in doubt, take the option with lagoon access — private water at your terrace changes the whole rhythm of the stay.
The resort holds the family format with confidence, but thanks to the villas with private lagoons it also works for couples who want full autonomy.
