A Balinese palace on the water — a rare case where the grand comparison turns out to be accurate: 40 hectares of tropical gardens, a lotus pond and wildlife wandering the paths at liberty.
Herons, ducks, monitor lizards and squirrels are part of the scenery here — young guests are often more impressed by them than by the ocean. The resort stands on the first line of a wide, spacious beach with a promenade running along it for slow walks.
The whole of Nusa Dua is a gated, guarded enclave, so walking around is peaceful at any hour. Next door is the Bali Collection complex: cafés, restaurants and shops, most of them open-air.
For those who like quiet — the Grand Club zone: a separate lounge serving breakfast and drinks through the day, and its own Grand Pool. For the active — 5 spacious pools, including the River Pool with a slide, 3 tennis courts and a water sports centre.
The airport is 12 km away. One of the most convenient family options in Nusa Dua: the slide and the garden wildlife for the children, the promenade and the club zone for the adults.
