The large complex is divided into 3 parts: the Ayana hotel, the Ayana villas and the Rimba hotel. A shuttle runs between the hotels, and guests may freely use the grounds of all three.

The Aquatonic pool, with its jacuzzi effect, is considered one of the finest pools in the world. Salt water from the Indian Ocean is warmed to a comfortable temperature to create a therapeutic effect, while views of the tropical forest and the boundless ocean add a sense of harmony and serenity.
