Honest review
Muscat's urban classic with a rare bonus: the resort sits on a clifftop in the prestigious Qurum Heights district, and the bay is in view from almost everywhere.
Around 200 rooms looking out over the sea, the city or a green garden. The scale is human — this is not a giant complex but a calm house with a marble lobby and an attentive concierge.
Dining is a strong suit: the Persian Shiraz with its Taste of Persia menu, the award-winning Italian Come Prima, a buffet on the main restaurant's terrace with a sea view, and a bar done in an English style. Breakfast can be served by the infinity pool.
Nearby is a private beach with velvet sand, and the Qurum beachfront with its authentic cafés is literally a few steps away. We suggest keeping an evening for the ancient Mutrah souq and the Corniche.
The logistics are simple: 20–25 minutes from the airport. Inside — a gym, tennis, squash, a sauna and a steam bath, round-the-clock room service, free Wi-Fi and parking.
Who it suits: those who want to combine a beach with the real Muscat, and business travellers who need everything within reach.
