The resort that abolished the timetable: The Nautilus has no concept of time — you can have breakfast or dinner whenever you like, anywhere on the island, and the day runs to your script, not the resort's.
Personalisation is taken to the limit: only your favourite drinks wait in the villa, robes are fitted exactly to your size, and every wish is taken seriously. The philosophy is simple — break out of the usual schedule and reconnect with yourself.
The island is tiny and very beautiful, set in the heart of a UNESCO biosphere reserve on Baa atoll. The famous Hanifaru Bay, where you can swim among whale sharks and giant mantas, is close by: be sure to set time aside for it.
The status is confirmed from outside too: The Nautilus is the only Maldivian member of the prestigious Relais & Châteaux association, and in 2021 Condé Nast Traveler gave it wins in two categories and a place on its Gold List.
Who it suits: the most discerning — those who have already seen the 'usual' Maldives and now want complete freedom.
