– a superb boutique hotel offering a calm, relaxed holiday not far from Male.
The hotel occupies a miniature heart-shaped island, and it will not take guests long to walk all the way around it. In the evening the atmosphere turns romantic: candles are lit on the tables along the beach and gentle music plays.
One of the island's strengths is its cuisine — despite its small size, the island has 3 restaurants, so guests can sample everything it has to offer. There are also several intimate spots on the island where private romantic dinners can be arranged for guests.
The island has several good stretches of beach, though all are fairly narrow owing to its small size. There is a large panoramic pool surrounded by soft sun loungers.
In places the current around the island is quite strong, which can make snorkeling difficult; however, twice a day the staff of the PADI-certified dive center run trips to a neighboring reef just 10 minutes away by boat.
There is also a water sports center and a spa, and masterclasses and excursions are organized for guests.
