The resort enjoys a beautiful setting on a strikingly green island amid dense vegetation. Beyond the tropical flora — represented on the island by banyan trees and coconut palms — there is plenty of fauna to encounter, such as flying foxes and several rare bird species. At the center of the island lies a genuine landmark: a freshwater lake, an extreme rarity in the Maldives.
Around the atoll there truly are many excellent spots for diving and snorkeling; the local coral reefs are strikingly vivid, and the underwater world features rays, reef sharks, turtles, clownfish and many others.
On the island you can hear a marine biologist talk about the local fauna and join them for a walk around the island.
The resort offers many accommodation options, both on the beach and above the waters of an astonishingly beautiful lagoon. But the hotel's crowning feature is undoubtedly the 2 overwater villas opened in 2020, with unique underwater bedrooms where you can admire the magnificent marine world without even getting out of bed.
