Honest review
If you are after maximum privacy in the Maldives, Naladhu is a very precise choice. This Anantara resort occupies a small island of just 20 villas in South Male Atoll, 24 km from the international airport — not far from Male at all.
The key argument is asymmetric access: all the infrastructure of neighbouring Anantara Dhigu and Anantara Veli is open to you, while their guests cannot reach Naladhu. The result is an intimate island with the resources of three.
For accommodation, look at the beach villas facing the ocean and the sunrise: an open-plan bathroom with a tub and a steam-function shower, an open-air shower, a terrace with a 32 sq m pool, sun loungers and a swing, plus your own beach pavilion with direct access to the lagoon.
This is a resort for resetting: silence, sunrises, sunsets and a relaxed mood. Plan at least a few days of doing absolutely nothing — everything here is arranged precisely for that.
Who it suits: couples and honeymooners — anyone who wants an island practically to themselves.
