Makunudu Island is a small, very quiet and authentic hotel where you can forget about the outside world entirely.
The hotel sits on a beautiful green island not far from Male and offers an ideal balance of price and quality.
This is a place without excess, perfect for those who want to relax in a quiet, cozy atmosphere in the company of their significant other.
The island has everything you need to enjoy your holiday — simple bungalows in traditional Maldivian style scattered across the island, excellent cuisine (you will certainly appreciate the local chef's talent), a small spa, a good beach and the vivid colors of tropical greenery.
Activities on the island are handled by a certified dive center and a water sports center. In addition, traditional Maldivian Boduberu performances are held regularly in the evenings, with visiting musicians playing live.
Until recently the island had no Wi-Fi at all and the rooms had no televisions, which makes this hotel ideal for a complete reset and change of scenery. Recommended for couples of any age.
