Honest review
The resort sits on an island in North Malé Atoll, a region famous for its magnificent beaches, lagoons of pure turquoise water and colourful coral reefs. Kodhipparu island is no exception: the nature here is superb, the house reef is excellent, and many world-class dive sites lie close by.
The island has a superbly equipped, PADI-certified dive centre offering a wide range of programmes, including diving for children. Its team of professionals helps beginner divers and experienced enthusiasts alike discover the magnificent underwater world and meet all its inhabitants, including rays, reef sharks and turtles.
Beyond diving, the island offers plenty of activities — there is an excellent kids' club, and the water sports centre offers kite- and windsurfing, water skiing, kayaking and much more. Every morning there are group yoga sessions and various workshops.
And after an active day you can unwind at the excellent SPA centre, which in 2019 won 3 awards in various categories of the competition
The island's restaurants also consistently earn high praise from guests: the breakfasts are excellent, the menu is good and varied and changes regularly, and there is a wide choice of meal plans, so you can pick whichever suits you best.
Grand Park Kodhipparu is a great fit for couples and for families with children alike — there are no age restrictions here.
