If you are choosing a resort in Abu Dhabi for the beach, Saadiyat is the logical place: it has one of the most beautiful beaches on the Arabian Gulf, and Rixos Premium stands right on it.
The advice on categories is simple. The garden-view room is the base option in Mediterranean tones, with a balcony and a bathroom with a separate tub and shower cabin. The sea-view room adds a turquoise panorama of the Persian Gulf to the same layout. And the premium poolside room is worth taking for its direct access to a dedicated pool — with children this is the most convenient scenario.
The spa is a separate argument: the largest centre on the island, built around the traditional hammam, with the only snow room in Abu Dhabi. Set aside at least half a day for it.
Bring the children without hesitation: the animators work in a play format and keep a child happily busy for a long while.
In the end the resort handles both scenarios equally honestly — a family holiday and a trip for two, from honeymoon to school holidays.
