The Palm Jumeirah is that rare address visible from space, and living right on its beach is an experience in itself.
Marriott Resort Palm Jumeirah stands on the shoreline of the famous man-made island: the sea and beach life on one side, and the reassuring closeness of Dubai's best sights on the other.
Rooms start at 41 sq m — generous by city standards — and all come with striking views. There is an ergonomic workspace and free high-speed Wi-Fi: if you have to stay connected, you can do it in comfort.
The spa is a chapter of its own. Start with the contemporary welcome ritual, then the thermal suite: sauna, steam bath, jacuzzi and ice station. Then work through the spa menu: massages, facial and body treatments, the hammam. Set aside half a day at the very least — hurrying here is contraindicated.
The resort receives romantic couples, families and those mixing holiday with business with equal confidence.
