If privacy in Dubai is the point, book not a room in the famous ‘wave’ but one of the 19 Beit Al Bahar villas at Jumeirah Beach Hotel. Counting everything that is included, this is one of the best-value premium products in the emirate — here is why.
The villa rate already covers a 24/7 butler, an airport transfer for one flight, breakfast on the villa or in the restaurant by the pool (from 7:00 to 11:30 — unusually long hours), a minibar of soft drinks with fresh juices for the children, laundry, and two happy hours — one on the villa grounds and one in the lounge on the 24th floor with a view of the Burj Al Arab and the sunset. In effect, booking breakfast only, you live on something close to all inclusive.
On categories: the villas come with one or two bedrooms and connect into three; they stand on three lines from the sea, but the price does not depend on the line, and the Burj view is guaranteed from every one — they are built in a cascade. We pick the exact villa for your family and fix it as a note in the booking.
Two practical points. In high season day passes are sold for the public beach and it gets genuinely packed — the villas, though, always have two cabanas of their own, one by the pool and one on the shore. And the Madinat restaurants (around forty of them, at extra cost) must be reserved ahead in season — without a booking you simply will not get a table.
For the children there is the renovated kids’ club with a learning programme, free for ages 4 to 12, plus wet zones and a pool for the little ones. A resort for families and for those who want Dubai’s Arabian classic — without the gilt and without the crowds.
