A designer resort with tropical birds wandering the grounds — JA Lake View Hotel is part of the JA The Resort complex and is aimed first at families, though couples without children will find plenty to do.
There are 348 rooms and suites, all with balconies. Beyond that it is a matter of taste: adjoining rooms and two-bedroom suites for a whole-family trip, categories with Premium Lounge access, and suites with a jacuzzi or a private pool for special occasions.
As complex guests you have more than 40 activities open to you: a riding centre, a private marina, a 9-hole golf course, massages at Calm Spa. The beach is private, with velvet sand, umbrellas, loungers and beach bars, just 100 metres away; beach equipment is free.
An honest note on logistics: Dubai International (DXB) is 57 km away, DWC 25 km, so allow time for the transfer.
Courteous staff and signature cooking do their work — people come back again and again. Families first of all.
