The main decision with this resort is whether you accept Dubai without the first line. Five Jumeirah Village has no beach of its own and the sea is not close; in exchange, free transport runs to the private beach of another resort in the FIVE chain. If stepping barefoot onto the sand each morning is a matter of principle, look at other options; if not, what follows is all upside.
The accommodation adapts to any travelling party: from compact one-room units to multi-room apartments with a private pool — a rare format for families and large groups. The rooms look out on striking city views.
You will not be short of things to do: water activities from snorkelling to yachts and jet skis, excursions, Arabic lessons, tastings of national dishes, a spa and a pool. For those in training, a gym with all the necessary machines and specialists running individual and group sessions.
With children it is easy: the club takes them for the whole day — games, reading, competitions, swimming, yoga.
