Honest review
If you are choosing where to stay in Abu Dhabi, the main advice for this resort is to decide in advance what you want to see in the mornings. The categories differ above all in the view: landscaped gardens, the pool, or the Persian Gulf with its white sand. For the postcard shot take a room facing the Gulf; the garden side is the greener one.
The rooms themselves are done in an elegant contemporary style with Arabic accents: ebony walnut, polished marble, the latest entertainment technology. Each has its own balcony or terrace, and the bathrooms are marble, with both a bath and a shower.
Set aside time for the spa: it combines Eastern traditions with Arabian wellness treatments, and the products are built on French lavender, wild chamomile, clary sage, mandarin and grapefruit.
This resort is worth considering for couples and connoisseurs of unhurried, palace-style leisure — people who care about interior detail and ritual, not just the beach programme.
