Honest review
In October 2024, the Delano Dubai hotel opened on the Bluewaters peninsula in Dubai — a new symbol of contemporary luxury. Delano Dubai unites the signature energy and iconic spirit of the famous Miami original while transporting guests into a world of modern design and legendary, refined chic.
The hotel stands in the prestigious Bluewaters district by Dubai Holding, home to residential, retail, hotel and entertainment complexes. The new hotel offers 167 rooms and 84 suites, including a signature five-bedroom penthouse, all styled in Delano's hallmark understated manner. Guests can look forward to unique culinary discoveries, a visit to the legendary Rose Bar, and time by the pool in the complete privacy of a secluded corner of the island.
The interiors of Delano Dubai, created by the leading design studios Elastic Architects, LaBottega, SA Consultants and Y Design, are inspired by the refined style of the original Miami hotel designed by Philippe Starck.
That natural aesthetic extends to the hotel's 251 rooms and suites, which offer contemporary design with smooth, soft silhouettes and rich textures. Every room is a bright, welcoming oasis with a tonal color palette, one-of-a-kind furniture, a private balcony or terrace and a luxurious marble bathroom. Delano Dubai also offers an exclusive selection of 83 one- and two-bedroom suites with elegant living and dining areas and a variety of private outdoor spaces, including terraces, gardens and pools.
The hotel's crowning glory is the Delano penthouse — a unique five-bedroom suite occupying the entire seventh floor, with a private entrance via its own elevator, a private infinity pool and two terraces with breathtaking views of the city skyline and the shimmering Arabian Gulf, lit by the pink hues of dawn and the golden glints of sunset.
Delano Dubai presents three distinctive restaurant and bar concepts. Tutto Passa, an Italian restaurant and terrace in amber tones, will carry guests from the Bluewaters peninsula to the atmosphere of the Amalfi Coast, while the beachfront Blue Door restaurant pays tribute to its iconic namesake. The hotel will also present a reimagined take on the legendary Rose Bar, so beloved by Hollywood's elite.
