Honest review
A designer resort in scenery that is rare for Thailand: tall mountains, mangrove groves and the white-sand beaches of the country's central coast, 5 km from Sam Roi Yot national park.
The scale is intimate: just 31 designer villas of 52 to 120 sq m, grouped into 10 blocks — each block with its own 48 sq m pool.
The villas are closer to apartments than to rooms: two-room, with a full kitchen open to the living room, a separate bedroom and a private terrace, opening onto the garden or straight to the pool. In the 62 sq m category there is a version with a rooftop terrace.
The honest trade-off is the drive: about 3.5 hours by car from Bangkok airport, and 40 km to Hua Hin. That is the price of mountains and quiet beaches instead of tourist crowds.
Who it suits: independent travellers and families who want a house with a kitchen by the sea, not a conveyor-belt resort.
