A format for those who want a territory of their own rather than a room: each villa is an open space of 1,000 sq m or more with a 15-metre infinity pool and a bedroom.
The resort is part of the five-star Laguna Phuket complex, but the villas stand apart, in a secluded corner of the grounds among natural lagoons and dense greenery — privacy is built into the very layout.
The full infrastructure of the larger complex is still at hand: restaurants, spa, entertainment. The signature restaurant serves modern Thai cuisine.
One piece of advice: don't lock yourself away in the villa for the whole trip. Phuket is Thailand's largest island, and the resort's staff will help you put together a programme for the area, including the elephant sanctuary.
