The resort stands on the island's north-west, on Bang Tao bay, and is part of Laguna, Asia's first integrated complex: inside there is well-developed infrastructure and plenty of restaurants, from simple Asian cooking to more refined dinners.
The free-form pool deserves its own mention — more than 300 metres long, so even a day away from the sea does not feel lost.
