This is a true family resort in a unique setting: the ocean on one side and, unusually, a river on the other. It is wonderfully scenic and beautiful. Thanks to this location, many rooms enjoy stunning views: gardens, the outdoor pool, the blue water of the ocean, mangroves along the banks of the Bentota River.
The rooms themselves are done in calm, warm tones so that guests feel at home. Against this backdrop the flora looks even more vivid and alive, and the water takes on a richer color. All rooms are cozy and well equipped, and the beach and the island's facilities are within easy reach from everywhere.
All in all, the resort is a fine fit for a classic beach holiday and will appeal to those who like to spend their time actively. There is a wide choice of entertainment: water sports and excursions. Besides snorkeling, windsurfing and canoeing, guests are offered other pastimes too, such as sailing trips where you will be taught the sailor's craft, water skiing, wakeboarding and tubing.
