Honest review
A place for those who come to Sri Lanka for unspoilt nature rather than gloss. The whole concept of the resort is built on merging with it — the belief here is that seeing and feeling nature in its true form is the path to relaxation.
The rooms are finished in natural materials; the rooms and bungalows themselves are spacious, light and stylish, and the sound of the ocean reaches them every day.
The grounds are compact but green and picturesque, and they live a life of their own: chipmunks, lizards, iguanas, monitor lizards, birds and little crabs on the shore — animal lovers will not be bored. An open-air pool and a giant swing hide among the greenery and palms.
Honestly about the ocean: there are waves here even in season, and time by the water feels more like taming the elements. Jumping the waves or wading in waist-deep to cool off — by all means; relaxed swimming, especially with children, is unlikely. The pool settles the swimming question.
Come here for quiet, living nature and an escape from city noise.
