Everything you need is close at hand — the sandy beach is just a few minutes away, and shops and markets are within walking distance too. Near the hotel there are several very good cafes and even a fruit stall. And the local landmark, the port of Galle, which we heartily recommend visiting, is only 3.5 km away. A short stroll and you are already enjoying one of the UNESCO World Heritage sites.
The hotel building is small — 3 floors and just 8 rooms. Don't let its size put you off: the atmosphere here is homely, and the staff are smiling and welcoming, always ready to help with any question.
But the most stunning thing here is the rooms. Most of them have their own balcony — large, L-shaped, with tropical flowers and an unbelievably beautiful panorama of the town, the garden, or the ocean. The rooms are quiet, which is perfect for those who have dreamed of a holiday away from the endless hum of traffic.
Beyond the balcony, a beautiful colonial style awaits, with numerous pieces in natural wood sitting comfortably alongside modern conveniences. For example, a tall canopy bed, cosy armchairs with wooden armrests, air conditioning, a kettle, a fridge, and a TV.
