Honest review
This is a mini-hotel with 15 rooms, set close to the beach — only about 50 metres away. From here you can take an excursion to see the turtles, visit the port of Galle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, or simply relax on the beach and forget about everything else.
Incidentally, you can see turtles not only on a farm excursion but also meet them in the wild. Not far from the hotel there is a lagoon where they swim in almost every day. And Galle has a magnificent Hindu temple. If you are interested in the region's culture and history, we suggest exploring the knowledge lost to humanity yet preserved in pagan tradition, which you can discover on a tour of the temple.
The hotel itself is small. In the five-storey building, all the rooms are on the second, third and fourth floors, while on the top floor guests can laze in a pool with an ocean view.
Blue Sky is an inexpensive resort, an excellent fit for those seeking a balance of price and quality who still want to immerse themselves in a tropical holiday without leaving civilisation behind.
The hotel is located in Hikkaduwa, 2 km from the village centre. The distance to Bandaranaike International Airport is 125 km.
Sandy beach, beachfront location, roughly 50 metres away. Umbrellas, sun loungers and beach towels are not provided.
