— unique, magnificent and perfect for a secluded holiday in a tropical paradise. Several stunning beaches lie close by, but our recommendation is Dalawella Beach, just 40 metres from the hotel. It has a wonderful reef that keeps the big waves away, a gentle sandy entry into the water — and turtles. They swim in almost every day; you can watch them and even feed them if you like. A perfect spot for a family holiday, wouldn't you agree? Just don't forget your snorkelling masks, because besides the turtles you can meet the reef's other equally beautiful inhabitants — tropical fish.
If you want to combine a beach holiday with an introduction to the local culture and history, make a note of a few more places: the famous Dalawella rope swing, 50 metres from the hotel; the Galle Fort complex, just 5 km away; and the turtle farm and Koggala Lake, 4 km away. And if you cannot go a day without yoga and meditation, the Sri Yoga Shala centre is only 600 metres from the resort.
