Honest review
An intimate adults-only (18+) resort in the north of Mauritius — a solid choice when you want a quiet holiday for two with no kids' entertainment around. The setting is secluded, next to the fishing village of Grand Gaube.
Look first at the Privilege rooms: daily a la carte dinner is already included (seafood excepted) — on Mauritius, where dinners weigh noticeably on the budget, that is real savings.
The beach is short, around 50 metres, but well kept. There are stones on the seabed — bring aqua shoes. The compensation is how much comes included with your stay: windsurfing, water skiing, diving, kayaking, pedal boats, parasailing, snorkelling and a glass-bottom boat trip.
In the evening — a candlelit dinner at the restaurant on the beach pier, facing the sunset; by day — the infinity pool with its panoramic ocean view.
The resort takes its name from Paul et Virginie, a novel about two lovers — and the positioning is exactly that: honeymoons, anniversaries, wedding journeys.
