Honest review
The resort fully lives up to its name: it stands in a picturesque turtle bay — a national marine reserve of Mauritius — on the west coast, where the climate is comfortable all year round.
The rooms are a strong suit: spacious, from 63 square metres, with comfortable beds, and every category has a terrace or balcony with a view of the ocean and its colourful sunsets.
The beach is 600 metres of white sand. An honest caveat: there is coral at the entry into the water, so swim to the right of the pier — the entry there has been specially cleared of coral and stones.
On the water you need not spend a thing: catamarans, kayaks, windsurfing, snorkelling, diving and water skiing on the beach are free.
The staff are attentive to small things and work at making your stay as comfortable as they can. A resort for those choosing the west of Mauritius — with its sunsets, a protected bay and activities included in the price.
