Honest review
The most practical argument for this resort is the transfer: 6 km from Mauritius's international airport. While others cross the whole island, you are already on the south-east coast; Port Louis is 40 km away.
The second argument is freshness. From 1 June 2025 the resort closed for a full reconstruction, with reopening planned for 15 October 2025: the 69 adults-only rooms in blocks 1–9 of the main building's left wing were renewed, and a comprehensive redesign with a new concept was prepared for the Grand Port buffet restaurant.
The rooms are sensibly done: a bedroom with a lounge area, a balcony or a terrace, and both a bathtub and a shower cabin in the bathroom.
Who we advise it for: couples who want an adults-only wing without entertainment under the windows, and anyone who dislikes long drives after a flight. Before booking, it is worth checking the resort's state after the renovation — we will help.
