The longest stretch of beach on Langkawi — and the resort that stands on it. Parkroyal Langkawi is 300 contemporary rooms and suites plus seven exclusive villas, each with its own small pool and direct access to the beach.
The signature shot is the landscaped pool on level five overlooking the Strait of Malacca: with a drink in the evening, it is the best spot in the resort.
Dining is kept compact: the signature restaurant Lancava, the all-day Cassia, an ocean-view lounge and a pool bar.
The infrastructure has no gaps: a 24-hour front desk, a gym, a kids' club, a spa and a business centre — the resort handles families and working travellers with equal ease.
Logistics are simple: 9.5 kilometres from Langkawi airport, around 20 minutes on the road. If you want to live facing the water, take a sea-facing room — bath, shower and balcony; the city-view room is the simpler option, with a bedroom and a shower bathroom.
