Honest review
A resort that wins on altitude, quite literally: the villas of Hilton Seychelles Northolme are scattered across a hillside in the north-west of Mahé, and almost everywhere you look opens onto Beau Vallon bay and the Indian Ocean.
The emphasis is on seclusion: private villas stand on the slopes above the sandy shore, light and spacious inside. This is a place where the view from the window is the main interior.
The kitchen is Creole and international fusion, and for a special evening you can book a candlelit dinner right on the beach.
The active won't be bored: a round-the-clock gym, with fishing, diving, waterskiing and cycling close by. For business there is a conference room for up to 35 delegates.
First and foremost this is a choice for couples and honeymoons — though quiet families who value the view and the silence will be happy here too.
