The main thing for planning first: from 14 May 2025 the resort is closed for full reconstruction until further notice. If the Seychelles are in your near-term plans, choose an alternative on Mahe and set this address aside until it reopens.
Why is it worth a waiting list at all? First, the location: Beau Vallon — one of the most beautiful and cleanest beaches on Mahe — is in direct reach, plus the only snorkelling spot on this beach lies right opposite. Second, easy logistics: about 15 km from Pointe Larue airport (around 30 minutes) and just 5 km to the centre of Victoria — the city's restaurants, bars and casino are close.
The format is small and stately: part of Marriott International, buildings in the spirit of a Seychellois village, tropical gardens, an ocean view from almost every room, interiors with Creole character.
On the grounds: a spa centre, a gym with an outdoor pool and a cove on the shore for a romantic dinner.
Who should take a look after the reopening: families after quiet holidays, spa devotees and fans of active water sports. There is a chance of getting a renewed resort on the same stellar spot.
