Dhevatara Beach Hotel falls into the boutique-hotel category. Set on the second-largest island of the Seychelles — Praslin —
this hotel offers guests a secluded atmosphere, spacious suites decorated in individual style, and service of the very highest order. It is ideal for a romantic couple's holiday, for newlyweds and for travelers who want to savor quiet and harmony with nature.
The hotel has just 10 rooms, each with its own open-air terrace overlooking the garden or the ocean. The buildings themselves are open-plan; the grounds feature an outdoor ionized pool with sun loungers, and there is an organic garden on the roof. The hotel opens directly onto the beach, giving guests the complete sense of being immersed in the island's tropical nature.
In the a la carte restaurant you can order the chef's signature dishes. Guests can visit the Dhevatara Beach spa or try water sports such as canoeing and snorkeling.
The island itself has plenty to see. Right next to the hotel, for instance, lies a national reserve
that is home to rare species of exotic black parrots, and on some of the palms you can spot coconuts shaped like hearts.
