Honest review
Italians in the Maldives — and you feel it in everything: Baglioni has brought the atmosphere of true dolce vita, warm and heartfelt, to Dhaalu Atoll, and that is what guests notice first.
The villas are built in traditional Maldivian style — high ceilings, thatched roofs — and finished in warm tones with Italian attention to the smallest details.
The island's main treasure is its staff: superbly trained, attentive and friendly. Thanks to this team, the word 'guest' regains its original meaning here, and the holiday becomes genuinely carefree.
Nature keeps pace: a living, vivid, densely populated reef lies close by — snorkellers and divers will be delighted — and the beach is flawless: fine white sand, palms, a turquoise lagoon.
The island is small and can be walked around in a single stroll; we suggest doing it on your first day, to see for yourself that it is beautiful from every side.
Recommended to everyone: couples, families, honeymooners, groups of friends. But be warned: you will want to come back.
