The honest picture first: Kirman Calyptus stands on the second line, 10 minutes' walk from the sea or 3 minutes on the little tram that runs through a tunnel laid specially for it. If you need the beach strictly below your balcony, look at other options; if a short ride doesn't put you off, you get a new resort from 2021 with fresh rooms and contemporary interiors.
The Signature concept is a practical one: an online assistant on call, round-the-clock ultra all inclusive dining, the chain's own sports programmes (yoga, stretching, strength training), premium spirits aged up to 12 years and a 24-hour bar on the ground floor.
Parents are well looked after: the Baby Star package for infants — from a cot and baby bath to a bottle warmer and toys — a mini club for ages 4–12, a water park heated in the cold season, and a children's menu with steamed dishes, porridges, mild soups and Aptamil, Bebelac and Gold jarred food.
The food deserves kind words: seafood, fresh juices, quality desserts beautifully presented, plus gluten-free, dietary and vegetarian menus.
In the evening the grounds light up dramatically, events run with visiting shows, and the disco goes until 2 am. A resort for active families and groups who care more about freshness and pace than the first line.
